Eureka Springs, Arkansas has been a high traffic place for tourists for many years, and it's no wonder why. With beautiful Ozark Mountain views combined with cozy places to room for the night, a grand variety of locally owned shops, and a unique history, it's the perfect place for a weekend getaway.
I absolutely adore Eureka Springs and the atmosphere. I've traveled here plenty of times with family, friends, and other loved ones and it certainly is worth the curvy mountain drive to get there, in my humble opinion. I even took my honeymoon here.
Now, out of every place and shop I've visited in Eureka Springs, here's a compiled yet short top 3 list of my personal favorites:
- Crescent Hotel and Spa
Known for being one of America's most haunted locations, the Crescent Hotel is the perfect blend of vintage appeal and spooky charm. With many recreational activities available on the grounds like swings, giant board games, and a pool, it provides a wonderfully relaxing place to let loose.
My favorite aspect about this hotel, however, is the Sky Bar located on the top floor, which has a balcony sporting an amazing view of the mountains, and the most bomb pizza I do believe I've ever tasted. Fun fact? You don't have to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy it either.

2. Rowdy Beaver Restaurant and Tavern
With many locations in and around Eureka, the Rowdy Beaver Tavern is one of my favorite places to stop in for a quick bite to eat. They have a wide range of delicious options on their menu, and they're family friendly as well.
Not all locations have the exact same menu options limited to size, so make sure you check out which one you feel called to or the one that's most convenient. My personal favorite is their loaded fry appetizer, which hits the spot every single time.
As usual, if you're interested in checking it out, I'll link the website below.
3. Downtown Eureka
Downtown Eureka as a whole is one of the best places to wander. With many locally owned shops like the Local Tub, aMUSEd, and East By West (home of the working bunnies), it's a place where everyone can find something tailored to them.
If you're wondering what I mean by working bunnies, I have a picture below. These bunnies actually work as cashiers, handing back change and receipts, now if that isn't a tourist appeal, I don't know what is.
So many options, so many choices, so why not visit them all?
There are so many other wonderful places, these are just some of my favorites. You're welcome to do your own exploring, because as you know, it's always encouraged. With so many enticing options still, how could you not.
If you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods, make sure you pay a visit to Eureka Springs!
